Kyle LoJacono, founder and Director of Training at Freedom Running Club, has spent 20 years in the sport as both an athlete and coach. What began as a personal pursuit in XC and track evolved into a mission to help others achieve more than they thought possible through running. His own competitive career included highs and hard lessonsโ€”like an injury in college from overtraining that ended his senior season. That experience now shapes his coaching: focused on safe progression, long-term growth, and smart, science-based training. Since 2013, Kyle has coached runners at every levelโ€”from middle school beginners to competitive high school, college, and adult athletes chasing PRs. With over two decades in the sport, his experience is matched by his passion for helping others succeed. Kyleโ€™s coaching stands out for its individualized, evidence-based approach. He holds certifications from USATF, World Athletics, RRCA, NFHS, and NASM, and continually expands his knowledge through clinics and study in physiology, nutrition, biomechanics, and sport psychology. At FRC, Kyle combines deep expertise with respect for every athleteโ€™s journey.
