Coach Charles Shapiro

A runner for over 50 years with a marathon PR of 2:33, after retiring from the corporate world in 2020, I pursued my passion by coaching high school cross country and track iat Holy Family High School in Broomfield, Colorado. In my 2 years as coach, Holy Family had its best combined season (boys and girls) in the school's history, with both teams winning our Regional Championships in 2020 and 2021. The girls were runner-ups at the state championships. The boys finished 4th. I then moved to Rise Running where I work with Ric Rojas and the team that ranges from juniors, to open runners, masters and elites. This year, 4 of our women ran in the Olympic trials. My passion is working with runners in a 1-on-1 fashion, helpiing them improve and excel beyond what they thought was possible. My website www.runners-hotline.com should be up in late May 2024
